-Fred Clark

First let me say thank you for checking out my site. For the last 33 years I have made a name for myself as a pro musician touring the world with the brightess stars of the day and many legends in the industry. You can find out about my music history at http://www.myspace.com/fredclark84 and in the pic section you can see a resume of some of the great artist I have had the great fortune to have worked with and for.
In my travels I used to carry a still camera around with me and I found myself taking a ton of photograhs in an atempt to keep the memories of all the incredible places I had been. The result of all those photos is two coffee table books "Doctor My Eyes" and "Just Behind the Road" both of which I am extremely proud of. They will be published and released early summer '08. As I examined the still photos, which are incredible, I felt that somehow the still pics didn't communicate my journey completely. So I added a camcorder to travel bag and I started to film my trips. Including behind the scenes and even some of the concerts I was doing. Of which I began to edit. After some friends saw some of my edits I was asked to film a "One Night Only" concert feature and some of that work ended up on "MTV". After that people started to seek me out for their music related projects. What I hadn't realized is that over the years of my life I had been a avid movie watcher, and by my nature I had been a observer. A student of film. Learning how to frame a shot from Alfred Hitchcock and how to use camera angles from Spilbergs work on "Night Gallery" or understanding the relationship of a score from Quincy Jones' work on films like "The Pawn Broker" or "For Love of Ivy".
After more than 15 years of using computers to record and produce music I was quite at home with the medium. As my clients list continued to grow for directing music related film projects I learned that I was a extremely capable at editing as well as motion graphics, graphic design and sound design. Not to mention web design and 3D graphics. At that point I started a small multimedia company "Film Web Multimedia" which included "C/Night Editing" and my music publishing company "Linenight Clark Music (BMI)". With the groundwork laid I began to sink my teeth into any and every project I could get my hands on. Documentary, short film, tv commercials and feature films. All the while honing my craft of film making. Presently Fred Clark Films has projects in both post and pre production and hope to the end of 2008 and 2009 as powerful years in feature film making.
Fred Clarks work can be seen both nationally and internationally. He has been said to be "a visionary" and 'a wonderful addition to the community of filmakers"
